Laura has a proven record of bringing innovative Sun Care concepts and sound technologies to market, such as the following product technologies:
Dry-Touch Ultra Sheer Technology: Technology that revolutionized industry aesthetic standard for sunscreens, which governs the superior efficacy and aesthetic of sunscreens across the Johnson & Johnson brands.
Wet Skin Technology: Technology used in sprays and lotions with broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection and high SPF (30/50/70/85) that can be applied on wet, sweaty, or damp skin and high humidity condition without unpleasant run-off or whitening as the conventional sunscreens.
Micromesh Technology: Technology allowing the skin to breathe, permitting the normal sweating, which redefined broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection and high SPF (30/50/70) for High Active Individuals in Sport Activities for “Best in Sport Category”.
Helioplex Technology: Technology to create photostable sunscreens achieving broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection with the highest SPF values (30/45/55/70/85/90/100/110) used across the Johnson & Johnson brands.
Sunscreen Sprays: First sprayable sunscreens with non-tacky feel, that achieve broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection with the highest SPF values (30/45/55/70/85/90/100/110) within the Johnson & Johnson brands.
Sunscreen with Inorganic UV filters: First non-whitening, broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection lotions with high SPF values (30/45/50/60) in mass-market for use on baby / kids and sensitive skin.
Sunscreen with Low Viscosity: Light liquid broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreens positioned for pro-acne skin and face.
Tinted Sunscreens: Broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreens with light reflectors able to cover skin imperfections, providing a healthy glow.
Sunscreen Sticks: Organic and Inorganic, broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreens for skin protection in targeted zones.
Gatorade Technology: a proprietary sunscreen formulations, broad spectrum UVA/UVB with Artemia Salina Extract, a Salt Lake algae. The synergies between electrolyte complex attached to yeast extract and Artemia, introduced in the sport sunscreen formulation, was able to prevent and diminish skin dehydration by balancing the electrolytes in the skin when exposed to UV radiation. Patent application abstract: “Effect of UVB irradiation on intra cellular sodium level and chloride channel CFTR expression in normal human cell.” Patent Pending.
Copper Tripetide Stabilization: inventing a method of stabilizing copper peptide in a topical composition, thereby, creating a more efficacious and stable product at elevated temperatures. Patent Pending.
Pore Refining / Mattifier Technology: relates to the instant matifying effect, shine control of a semitransparent, lubricious silicone gel, acne medicated (Salicylic Acid), oil free, for the facial T-Zone (forehead, nose, chin). This product combines the oil absorbing properties of the synthetic polymers (crosslinked polydimethylsiloxane) in conjunction with Pours Silica for long term mattifier effect, oil controlling of the T-Zone. 2 Patents Granted.
